Recent community sources disagree about when trading became available in Tap Simulator REBORN. Value sites describe an open market around Update 1, while another page still described trading as upcoming. Start by checking the current server; this guide does not claim that every player or build has a working Trade button.
Check access first
Look for Trade in the main UI or player list. Open the panel and read any unlock message. Requirements may involve progress, account settings, or a temporary feature state, and they need direct in-game confirmation.
If the button is absent, rejoin a fresh public server once and check the update panel. Do not install an extension, executor, or “trading client.” Legitimate trading stays inside the experience.
Prepare the item
Open the pet detail page outside the trade window. Record base name, variant, level, enchant, serial or existence marker, source, and lock state. Take a screenshot when the item is valuable or unusual.
Decide the exact acceptable return and a walk-away point. Separate preferred items from required items. If Tokens are involved, verify that the live trade UI actually supports them.
Unlock only the item you intend to offer. Keep irreplaceable, limited, Secret, and recently acquired pets locked until the deal is ready.
Review every change
Any change means review again from the top. A legitimate trader can wait. Pressure, countdown claims, or anger are reasons to cancel.
Avoid common scams
Never use a trust trade where one side promises to return or add items later. Avoid loans, duplication tests, “indexing” services, cross-game payments, off-platform cash, gift-card swaps, and trades that require joining through a shortened link.
Do not hand a pet to a middleman solely because a chat server calls them verified. Do not run browser-console code or share a Roblox cookie. Staff and creators do not need your login or temporary custody to inspect an item.
Ignore claims that a pet must be traded twice to unlock, clean, sign, duplicate, or repair it unless the current game UI explicitly provides that process—and even then, use the built-in interface only.
Compare a deal
Use the Value List to collect several recent signals. Distinguish seller asks from buyer bids and completed evidence. Match the same variant, level, enchant, and serial state.
Consider usefulness and liquidity. A pet that materially improves your team has immediate utility. A collectible with few buyers may have a high listed ask but take longer to trade. There is no guarantee that a value-site number can be realized.
Do not let an unofficial calculator make the final choice. If evidence is uncertain, trade smaller or wait.
Confirm and document
Before final confirmation, remove your hands from rapid-click controls and read both sides slowly. Check the other username again. Confirm the number of items and every visible modifier.
After completion, open inventory before leaving the server. Capture the result when the deal is important. If the game offers history, record its entry. Do not immediately accept a “correction” trade because the other player claims a mistake.
Trade settings and unwanted invites
Use privacy or trade settings to restrict invites when possible. Decline repeated requests and block harassment. Move to a quieter server for a careful high-value trade.
On mobile, close overlays that cover item details and rotate or enlarge the supported view if needed. If the full final summary cannot be read, cancel rather than confirming blind.
When something goes wrong
Save usernames, timestamps, screenshots, chat, offer details, and inventory state. Report through Roblox and the official experience support path. Do not post private information or organize harassment.
Roblox support and the game team may not be able to reverse a voluntary trade. Paying a recovery service or giving a second pet usually compounds the loss.
