Pets are the main multiplier behind Tap Simulator REBORN progression. You hatch them from eggs, equip a limited team, and use the stronger total to earn Coins faster, rebirth sooner, and reach later islands. The official experience description confirms pets and Secret pets, while the exact roster, displayed power, variants, enchants, and odds remain update-sensitive.

This hub routes you by decision: identify a pet and its source, plan a Secret hunt, compare a team fairly, or understand variants. If a number here differs from your current pet card or egg panel, use the in-game value and note the server date.

Your first useful team

A new account follows a short pet loop. Complete the starter taps, choose a starter pet, earn enough Coins for the Basic Egg, and equip what hatches. Current walkthroughs show a Pets control in the bottom HUD and an Equip Best button that sorts the owned collection into the strongest visible team. The exact icon position can move on mobile, but the decision stays the same: fill every available slot before chasing a tiny upgrade in one slot.

Move to the Spotted Egg when its current stand price is comfortable. Community footage names Chick, Deer, Lamb, and Chicken in that pool, while the Basic Egg is associated with Doggy, Kitty, and Bunny. These are dated observations, not a promise that every server still has the same pool. Read the egg panel before spending a large balance.

The tutorial path then asks for a stronger team and roughly 700 Power to open the bridge beyond spawn. Equip Best after every hatch batch; otherwise a new pet can sit unused while the displayed team power remains unchanged. Once the bridge opens, the Spiked Egg and island route create larger jumps than repeatedly opening the cheapest egg.

Use the card as a snapshot. Record name, source, level, variant, enchant or mutation, displayed power, and check date together. Removing any of those fields can turn a valid screenshot into a misleading comparison.

Hatch for a goal, not just rarity color

Before spending, name the result you want. A new player usually needs a complete equipped team and enough power for the bridge. A mid-game player may need the best affordable egg on an unlocked island. A collector may target a missing index entry. A Secret hunter accepts a much longer session and should compare the current odds panel, Luck effects, storage space, and hatch speed first.

The most expensive visible egg is not automatically the best use of Coins. If buying one hatch empties your balance, a cheaper pool may improve several weak slots sooner. If the target is one named pet, use the egg that actually lists it. For probability decisions, use the Egg Odds guide rather than converting a rarity label into an invented chance.

Keep storage and equipment separate

Storage determines how many pets you can own; equip slots determine how many contribute to the active team. The official game-pass API lists Extra Storage, Super Storage, +1 Pet Equip, and +3 Pet Equip, but two product names conflict with their displayed descriptions about how many slots they add. Read the current purchase card before paying and do not infer an equip total from the pass name alone.

When storage fills, stop auto hatching before deleting anything. Lock valuable pets if the interface offers a lock, confirm variant and enchant, then remove obvious duplicates from weak early pools. A bulk-delete filter is efficient only after its preview is checked. Keep at least one uncertain or newly added pet until the collection entry and live card agree.

Secret pets need a different plan

Secret pets are officially acknowledged by the experience description and the Secret Hunter game pass. The pass description says Secrets are 30% easier to hatch, but it does not establish base odds, stacking, pity, or which eggs currently contain a Secret. Community sources disagree on several Secret probabilities and names.

Open the egg details first. If the target is hidden, use a current, dated source only as a lead. Set a Coin budget, clear storage, choose whether a long session is worth the expected progress, and keep any pity display visible. Never convert “1 in X” into a guaranteed hatch count: independent random attempts can run longer, and a pity system may use separate rules.

Compare teams without a fake universal ranking

The strongest pet is the one that produces the best relevant result under the same conditions. For normal progression, compare the total shown after equipping each candidate. For trading, power is only one factor; scarcity, variant, serial number, enchant, demand, and actual completed trades can matter more. For collection, an index gap may matter even when the pet is weaker.

Use a controlled comparison: same account, same server, same upgrades, same level, same variant, same enchant state, and one pet changed at a time. Record Coins per tap or the visible team value before and after. The Pet Tier List turns that method into a repeatable set of tiers without pretending mixed community screenshots are objective.

Variant and crafting checks

Community indexes commonly list Normal, Golden, Diamond, and Rainbow filters, with Shiny and mutations appearing in value or update discussions. Roblox badges named Golden I through Golden V confirm Golden crafting progression exists, but badge names do not prove a recipe or multiplier. Visit the live machine, read the required copies and success behavior, then check the resulting card.

Do not merge a variant into the base pet record. A Normal copy and a Rainbow copy need separate form labels even when the name is the same. The Pet Variants guide explains a safe before-and-after record and why asking prices cannot prove a mechanical multiplier.

Pet troubleshooting

If Equip Best appears to choose the wrong pet, compare variant, level, enchant, and any specialized bonus rather than name or rarity alone. If a pet disappears after crafting, check whether the machine consumes inputs and whether the result went to inventory or a collection screen. If an egg pool differs from a guide, trust the live panel and confirm that you are in Tap Simulator REBORN by Cursor Makers, not a legacy experience.

When a trade or hatch result looks impossible, capture the full screen with server date, egg or trade panel, pet card, and account bonuses. A cropped number without context is not enough to update a Dex or ranking.
