How to use the Dex in game
Open the island or spawn egg panel and compare its visible names with the source row. If the pool matches, record the current price and any visible chance before hatching. If it does not match, trust the panel and treat the row as historical. Weekly updates may move an event pet, remove a limited pool, or add a new form without changing older guides.
After a hatch, open the Pets menu and inspect the complete card. Keep the pet name, variant, level, enchant or mutation, displayed power, source egg, and check date together. That prevents a boosted Rainbow pet from being mistaken for the Normal pet’s base value.
Early pets and team upgrades
The first goal is four useful equipped pets, not a complete catalog. Basic Egg pets fill slots cheaply. Spotted Egg pets are the next documented step and are used by the onboarding quests. Equip Best after each batch and watch whether the team power and Coins per tap improve.
The bridge beyond spawn requires a reported 700 Power in current walkthroughs. If the counter stalls, check for an unequipped hatch before buying more eggs. Once the bridge opens, the Spiked Egg and island eggs create new sources; the Beginner Guide covers the route.
Island pet decisions
Choose an island egg by target and budget. Nimbus is the cheaper reported Sky Island pool, while Sky Egg is associated with Penguin, Tiger, and Angel. Later islands have wider or rarer pools, but a larger price does not guarantee a useful hatch for every slot.
If you want one named Secret, open the Secret Pets guide and confirm the current egg. If you want general team power, compare the affordable pool against the weakest equipped slot. If you want collection progress, use the in-game Index and do not delete an unrecorded name until it is registered.
What the Dex does not prove
Names do not prove live odds. An egg association from launch footage may be outdated. A pet’s rarity label does not provide a universal power value. A community value list does not prove a completed trade. “Exists” counts and serial numbers also change and require a timestamp.
Several community pages disagree on Queen Bee’s egg, Oasis Spirit’s source, Secret spellings, and some Volcano names. Those disputes are a reason to leave a field blank, not to pick the most convenient answer.
Add a reliable pet record
For your own notes, capture the egg panel before hatching and the pet card afterward. Include the full HUD or area landmark so the source is identifiable. Record whether the name came from an egg, starter choice, trade, bundle, event reward, or another system. If it came through trading, do not assign it to the previous owner’s claimed egg without independent support.
Use evidence labels consistently: Official for Roblox or Cursor Makers text, In-game verified for a dated live observation, Community corroborated for agreement between current independent sources, and Community reported for a single useful source.
