Your first goal in Tap Simulator REBORN is not endless tapping. Build a small equipped pet team, complete the tutorial, use the first rebirth to open lasting upgrades, and reach the first island without emptying every currency at once. Prices and quest order can change, so follow the live prompt when it differs.
Claim and equip the starter pet
Follow the tutorial marker and claim the offered pet. Open Pets, select it if needed, and check that it appears in an equipped slot. Start tapping only after the team is active.
Look for quest progress rather than guessing the target. Claim completed steps; an unclaimed quest can make the next bridge or egg objective appear stuck.
Hatch the first eggs
Current walkthroughs direct new players to Basic Egg and then Spotted Egg. A first Basic hatch has been reported at a discounted price with later hatches costing more. Read the stand before every purchase.
Fill open equip slots with useful results and press Equip Best. Stop hatching when the next result is unlikely to improve the team cheaply or when the quest changes. Keep some Coins for the next objective.

Built-in Auto Clicker or Click Anywhere can reduce repetitive input. Egg Luck matters during a funded hatch session. Auto Rebirth helps only after you understand the threshold. Save Gems if the next meaningful node is close.
Never replace an in-game upgrade with an external macro or executor.
Cross the bridge
Walkthroughs reported an early requirement around 700 Power. Check the live quest or bridge. Total team Power, a quest claim, or a route prerequisite may matter more than one strong pet.
If short, fill empty slots, press Equip Best, and compare the next affordable egg. Do not delete equipped pets or buy the most expensive stand automatically. A few balanced improvements may clear the requirement faster.

Unlock Sky Island
Community sources disagree on the exact Sky gate cost, reporting a broad range rather than one stable price. Read the portal in your server. Save the gate amount plus enough Coins to test an egg or useful action inside.
Community catalogs place Nimbus and Sky eggs in the area. Compare both pools with the weakest equipped pet. A cheaper egg can deliver faster team-wide progress than saving everything for a rare result.

Choose one next goal: egg improvement, island gate, rebirth, or Gem node. Tap in the strongest useful area, keep the best team equipped, and stop spending when the goal is funded.
Time complete rebirth cycles rather than chasing the largest button. Open new islands when their earnings or eggs can be used immediately. Keep a reserve before weekly updates.
