The official badge list confirms Golden crafting progression through Golden I–V achievements. It does not publish recipes, multipliers, success chances, or a complete variant order.

Check a crafting machine before using it
Walk to the current machine and read the complete panel. Record its island, accepted pet forms, number of copies, currency cost, success chance, timer, and what happens on failure. If the interface offers several inputs, select identical pets with matching lock state and check the preview.
Do not unlock valuable or traded copies until the result is clear. A machine may consume inputs permanently. If auto-craft exists, test one manual craft first and confirm that protected variants are excluded.
Record the before-and-after result
Take one card screenshot before crafting and one after. Keep pet name, level, enchant, mutation, displayed power, and account bonuses visible. If the output changes several fields, do not attribute the entire increase to the variant alone.
Compare Coins per tap with the same team except for the crafted pet. That produces an account-specific result you can reproduce. A community multiplier is useful only when it matches current cards under controlled conditions.
Golden progression
Roblox badges named Golden I, Golden II, Golden III, Golden IV, and Golden V show that Golden crafting has achievement progression. The badge text repeats the names and supplies no thresholds or rewards. Do not infer how many crafts each badge requires.
Community pages also describe Golden crafting machines on later islands. Machine availability can move with updates, so use the Island Index and the live height or portal menu to find the current location.
Diamond and Rainbow checks
Community island guides associate Diamond and Rainbow machines with Crystal Cave, Shadow Realm, and later hubs. Heaven Island reports list several machines together. Because these locations and costs can change, confirm the machine label after teleporting rather than navigating only by an old screenshot.
Keep the forms separate in your Dex and value notes. A Rainbow offer cannot establish the Normal pet’s value. A Diamond card cannot establish the base hatch power. If a value page has a dash for a form, that means no useful observation was recorded, not that the form has no value.
Shiny and mutation caution
Shiny Star routes are widely reported across the initial islands, with a permanent Shiny-related reward claimed for completing the set. The official badges API does not explain this system. Check the live collection counter and reward text before using a reported percentage.
Mutation names and effects are even more update-sensitive. Treat a mutation as its own field, not a synonym for Golden or Shiny. Verify whether it can coexist with another variant, whether it changes appearance or power, and whether it survives trading or further crafting.
Which form should you make first?
Craft only when the result beats the opportunity cost. Early in progression, filling weak equip slots from a better egg can outperform consuming many duplicates for one upgrade. Later, crafting can turn excess copies into a stronger team member or collection entry.
For a rare or limited pet, preserve at least one safe copy until you know the recipe, chance, and trade demand. For a common pet, a controlled craft is lower risk. Use Pet Tier List to compare the actual result rather than assuming the highest-looking form is always best for every goal.

Yes, the official Roblox badge API lists Golden achievement tiers. The recipes, thresholds, and power changes still need the live machine and pet cards.

Can a pet be both Shiny and Golden?
